Comments: Type locality of the holotype of Barbus aphantogramma: 'Morogoro, Tanganyika Territory' (Ref. 84026). Known from Lake Victoria (Ref. 13624), coastal region near Dar Es Salaam (Ref. 4903, 27628), the Ruaha, Kilombero and Wami River systems (Ref. 4967) and Lake Rukwa (Ref. 27292). Also Ref. 2801, 27629, 107916.
