Comments: Known from the Black Sea, Sea of Marmara, and watersheds of European Black Sea, Aegean Sea, Anatolian Black Sea and Caspian Sea (Ref. 58342). Also Ref. 106151. Threatened due to habitat loss, eutrophication/pollution, construction of weirs/dams in rivers and water abstraction (Ref. 58342). Status of threat: Endangered. Extinct in Caspian Sea watersheds (Ref. 58243). EurTurk
