Known from the Black Sea, Sea of Marmara (questionable according to Ref. 92840), Aegean Sea watersheds, European Black Sea watersheds and Anatolian Black Sea watersheds (Ref. 58342); central coast of Black Sea (Sinop and Samsun vicinity) (Ref. 88083). Threatened by habitat loss, eutrophication/pollution and water abstraction (Ref. 58342). Also Ref. 4696, 106151, 115544.
