Known from southwestern Mediterranean coast in northern Tunisia (Ref. 10538, 13696, 59043), entering permanent rivers like Miliane (Ref. 10538) and Medjerda (Ref. 10538). A landlocked population is known from the brackish waters of Lake Ichkeul (Ref. 10538, 59043).
