Comments: Found in Mekong, Chao Phraya, Maeklong, Peninsular and Southeast Thailand river systems (Ref. 26336); also from Nonthaburi, Chiang Mai, Chanthaburi, Phattalung, Pattani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Surat Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Rai, Nakhon Nayok, Kanchanaburi and Phitsanulok (Ref. 37773). Captured from the wild for the ornamental fish trade (Ref. 6459). Also Ref. 1739, 9648, 27732, 36654.
