Comments: Syntypes were lost and a neotype from Algoa Bay was established, SAIAB 85233 (17.5 cm Sl, female). Endemic to southern Africa from False Bay, Western Cape Province to Durban (Ref. 83528). Flesh excellent (Ref. 4319).
