Comments: Recorded from São Tomé Island based on (1) collection by DOP in Praia das Conchas in 1 m on rocky bottom (DOP-ICT 1026-2000, 1: 53 mm SL), (2) collection by Peter Wirttz in tide-pool near São Tomé city (SMNS 13129, 3 spec.), and (3) underwater photo by DOP (Ref. 34088). Misidentified as Parablennius pilicornis in Ref. 34920 (Ref. 34088). Also Ref. 5298, 34498, 34979.
