Comments: Type locality of Nomorhamphus pinnimaculata creek at eastern end of Tunga, Leyte (Ref. 44897, 51649). Endemic status computed from FishBase data (country records, occurrences records in literature and in point data) on 16/07/08. Also Ref. 94476.
