Comments: Type locality of Pomacentrus flavoaxillaris, Pohnpei, Ant Atoll. Known from Caroline Islands east of Palau, from Ngulu Atoll to Kosrae, including Yap, Ulithi Atoll, Chuuk, Mortlock Islands, and Pohnpei (Ref. 114927).
