Comments:
Type locality of Peltorhamphus tenuis, off Westport, Westland, South Island. Known from north of Taranaki Bight off Albatross Point (38°11.00’S) North Island, to Blueskin Bay, Otago (45°43’S) South Island (Ref. 123823). Recorded from bottom trawls off the east coast of South Island (Ref. 58461).
