Comments: Reported endemic from Alor to Bali (Ref. 47567). Ranges from Bali to Flores (Ref. 970). Found on deep sand slope with rubble ridges and small coral or rock outcrops with crinoids or with soft corals (Ref. 9407). Museum: off Tulamben, Bali, 33 m, BPBM 34566 (holotype, 5.78 cm SL, male); USNM 321933 (paratype, 5.54 cm SL, female) (Ref. 12716). Also Ref. 31113, 90102.
