Comments: Known from West Bengal, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Goa and Kerala (Ref. 4833). Reported occurring throughout India (Ref. 45255). Fairly common in the Hooghly estuary in West Bengal (Ref. 4833). Also Ref. 43640. Status of threat: Vulnerable in Western Ghats (Ref. 50614).
