Reported from Sharp Island and Tung Ping Chau (Ref. 94637, 125586). Also reported from Tai Tam Bay (Ref. 125338) and Cape D'Aguilar (Ref. 129329). The species was observed on 2 to 10 occasions during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494). Also Ref. 128523).
