Uses: no uses
Comments: Known from the lower Pinios River in Peloponnese and the lower Mornos River in mainland Greece. Found in very low abundance in the Pinios in 2005. A visit to the Pinios in 2011 did not find any specimen. The population in the Pinios might now be extirpated as suggested in the same year by E. Kalogianni. In 2010, the Mornos River population was reportedly the only one to be relatively safe. There is an urgent need to examine at least the southern populations previously identified as V. letourneuxi and to conduct again survey in the Pinios River in order to better assess the conservation status of V. robertae (Ref. 95526).
