Comments: Known only from the Río Napo and Río Aguarico, eastern Ecuador, in the western portion of the Rio Amazonas basin (Ref. 54848). Type locality, Río Aguarico, in the confluence with Río Pushino, FMNH 101957 (holotype of Pachyurus stewarti) (Ref. 36888).
