Considered critically endangered in 2000 (41386). This species occurs in the lower reaches of the rivers Morava and Dyje river networks (in a stretch about 30 km long) and Dyje (in a stretch about 25 km long). Former range considerably longer part of the stream of these rivers. Protected under Law 114/1992 and Intimation 395/1992) (Ref. 52149). Also Ref. 54732, 89840, 90060.
Status of threat: Critically endangered, B2c,e (Ref. 52149).
