Comments: Reported from the Niari-Kouilou and Loémé River basins (Ref. 81639). Type locality of the holotype of Labeo lukulae incorrectly reported as: "Lukula River (sometimes spelt Likuala), another affluent of the right bank of the Congo, parallel to the Sanga" (Ref. 26190, 26192, 52342). This was corrected in Ref. 1880, identifying the Lukula as an affluent of the Chiloango in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Also Ref. 1440, 26190.
