Known from the Hainan and Guangxi provinces and south of the Zhoushan Islands in Zhejiang Province. Record from Yantai, Shandong Province is questionable (Ref. 33837).
26 specimens from Beihai City of Guangxi Province; Guanghai, Zhapo city of Guangdong Province; Qinglangang county, Sanya city, Yinggehai and Baimajing, Yongxing Island of Xisha Islands of Hainan Province.(Ref.33837)
9 specimens were from Haimen, Shantou in Guangdong Province; and also in Fujian Province.(Ref.33837)
