Comments: Known from rio Itapicuru basin, a drainage located in the northern portion of the Bahia State. Captured mainly in the upper and lower portions of the basin. Anthropic activities such as construction of water reservoirs for cattle and human use have impacted most of the sampling areas (Ref. 110236).
