Comments: Found in north-west Brazi. Known from the drainage of the upper Rio Branco in the vicinity of the town of Boa Vista Caught in flowing waters, specifically the Igarapés luciniu and Agua Boa, and the Rio Cauamé; also in central Rio Negro drainae in the vicinity of Barcellos do Rio Negro (Ref. 57916).
