Foun in Cachoeira do Espraiado, Rio Mogi-Guaçu, Primera Cachoeira Grande depois de Soledade, Estado Minas Gerais (Ref. 33021). Museum: Rio Camanducaia, Monte Alegre, Sao Paulo, MZUSP 3411 (holotype of A. ibitiensis, 11.3 cm SL) (Ref. 27925). Also Ref. 35189.
