Comments: Known from the rivers of Amapá, and Capim, Tocantins, and lower Xingu River basins in Pará (Ref. 11334). Museum: Amapá, Rio Cupixi, along the road to Serra Navio, from the mouth of a rainforest stream, MZUSP 41762 (holotype, 8.67 cm SL); USNM 268010 and MZUSP 41763 (paratypes) (Ref. 11334). Also Ref. 27925, 38016.
