Known only from the northern Brazilian coast, from Pará to Bahia (Ref. 99819). Species Identification of reported specimens beyond Bahia needs further confimation (e.g. from the southernmost tip of the Bombinhas peninsula and Canto Grande, Santa Catarina (Ref. 55758) and Guaratiba Mangrove, Rio de Janeiro (Ref, 111953) in southern Brazil.
