Known from south of Rio Grande do Sul to the São Paulo / Rio de Janeiro border, in continental slopes at depths up to 259 m. Specimens were collected at 23°43’94"S, 41°35’49"W, São Paulo / Rio de Janeiro border (Ref. 42991).
