Known from the southern Congo River basin (Ref. 120641) in the Chiumbe and Chicapa (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin), from the Cubango (=Okavango) (Ref. 11970) and from Lake Calundo (upper Zambezi), although presence in the Zambezi questionable according to Ref. 120641. Also present in the Cuanza (Ref. 1878, 1880, 11970, 120641). Also Ref. 82823.
