Specimens were collected from Calbiga-a creek, Leyte in 1993 (Ref. 7223) and Lanuza Bay (Ref. 104756). Migrated into Lake Mainit via the Tubay River, Mindanao (Ref. 4867, 13446, 81829), reported from Kalinawan River (Ref. 81829). Also recorded from Taal (Ref. 12165, 13446). Recorded from Taal as part of pond culture and cage culture in BFAR-NFBC, Butong, Batangas (Ref. 81499). Reported from Lake Naujan (Ref. 13446). Also Ref. 55, 469, 53416, 59176, 121724.
