Known from Maharashtra (Ref. 43634); Ombatta stream, Mudumalai, Tamil Nadu (Ref. 44148); Tranquebar (Ref. 1632); common in Western Ghats Rivers, Kerala and Karnataka (Ref. 44149), Chilka Lake (Ref. 29108) and Tripura (Ref. 97593).
