Known from habitats near or among corals of southern Philippines. Occurrence in Batangas needs further confirmation or documentation since museum specimens, CAS 32048 and BMNH 1982.3.4, were apparently provided by aquarium importers (Ref. 26419). Also Ref. 9710.
