Espinas dorsales (total): 3; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 7-8; Espinas anales 3; Radios blandos anales: 9 - 10; Vértebra: 30. Can be diagnosed from all its congeners by the following characters: pre-dorsal scales 15-16; predorsal length 60.68% of SL; preanal length 65-71% of SL; eye diameter 27-38% of HL and 70-93% of inter-orbital width; and dorsal fin origin posterior to pelvic fin insertion (Ref. 75599).
