Melanophores on head + trunk melanophores on head + trunk
Swimbladder and the green gallbladder were clearly visible. Pigmentation: The melanophores are smaller and the yellow chromatophores are more numerous than those in L. lepadogaster. The melanophores on the body, which did not extend over the posterior tail region, are more irregularly distributed than in L. lepadogaster. There are four melanophores on the top of the head and five along the posterior margin of the operculum.

Specimen 7.0 mm long already possess adult characters. The anterior end of the dorsal fin is slightly in front of that of the anal fin.
