Comments: Sex ratio varies with locality, depth, and season and thus difficult to assess. At about 40 cm, some mature females transform into males. Females outnumber males by 2.1:1 in the sample, a high proporiton of which were 4 or 5 years old (Ref. 52272, pp. 5, 13).
