Description of life cycle and mating behavior In captivity, the male predominantly picks up the released egss from the bottom of the tank and stores them in a nest built beneath a projecting corner of a small stone. The nest has a number of small air bubbles and several dozen eggs that together formed a compact mass that adhered to the stone (Ref. 47277).
