Comments: Spawn at depths ranging from 50-160 m wit two peak spaning times, one in winter (May-July) in the northern section of its distribution and the other in summer (October-March) in the north Patagonia coastal waters. Batch fecundity (Argentine Sea): 267,400-432,240 oocytes/spawn (Ref. 43607). Relative fecundity based on females with lengths between 35-38 cm TL (Ref. 43607 ).
