Additional Characters Eggs are encased in horny shells (Ref. 205). Eggs are oval, 30 cm long and 10 cm wide, with an extended rostrum at one end. The upper surface of the egg capsule is smooth, but the margins are covered with long hairs. The color is brown (Ref. 54667).
