Additional Characters Yolk is homogenous, with 1.1-2.0 mm in diameter, and yellow-green to orange in color (Ref. 36497). Oil globule number may reach over 115, but coalesces to one (Ref. 36497). Oil globules are orange at first, fading to yellow (Ref. 36497). Melanophores are present on dorsum and intestine of embryo by day 3-4 (Ref. 36497). Vitelline circulatory system unbranched and looping (Ref. 43413). Also Ref. 43430.
