Additional Characters Yolk peripherally segmented. Melanophores on the posterior half of the oil globule. When the embryo is about half way round the yolk 2 lateral rows of melanophores develop on the body. Some of them on the yolk as well (Ref. 37). Eggs hatch in 3 to 8 days (Ref. 92286).
