Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Mozambique Channel almost to 30°S, off Durban, South Africa and off Dampier, Western Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-14; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 14-15
Biology:  A mesopelagic species (Ref. 7300, 75154).
