Country info:  Described from the type and single specimen, 12.8 cm TL, collected by Herre at Lumbatan, a town on the south shore of Lake Lanao, Mindanao (Ref. 2929). Reported from 1986 survey by Mercene (Ref. 13446). No specimen was caught during the 1994 expedition (Ref. 10888) and 1976, 1977, 1982-83, 1990-91 and 2008 surveys (Ref. 95183).
