Family:  Gobiesocidae (Clingfishes and singleslits), subfamily: Gobiesocinae
Max. size:  3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Mexico to Peru, including the Galapagos Islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-8; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 6-7. Elongate, blackish spots usually on sides of posterior half of body (Ref. 42103).
Biology:  Inhabits rocky shores. Feeds on zooplankton, algae, and small benthic invertebrates.
