Family:  Soleidae (Soles)
Max. size:  12.3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 7 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Half Moon Bay (near Dhahran).
Biology:  Collected from silty sand with sparse seagrass area.
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 27 February 2014 Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
