Max. size:  15.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 500 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific.
Diagnosis:  This species is distinguished by the following characters: a large number of gill rakers on the first arch (36 in the outer row, 41 in the inner row); origin of dorsal and pelvic fins located near the same vertical line; equal pecto-ventral and ventro-anal distances; adipose fin unpigmented (Ref. 124526).
