Max. size:  8.3 cm SL (male/unsexed); 6 cm SL (female)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 40 - 100 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Japan and the East China Sea. Reported from New Caledonia (Ref. 9070).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 9-9
Biology:  Found on sandy mud bottoms (Ref. 11230).
