Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: off western Cape Province, South Africa.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 16-19; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 12-14. Brown in color.
