Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  2.27 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 15 - 20 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: known from 2 specimens from Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 8-9. Total of more than 10 papillae in the posterior interorbital row, plain dark coloration with no light bars on head or body, no elongate spines or dark spots or blotches on the first dorsal fin, 16-17 pectoral fin rays. Longitudinal row of papillae on the cheek extending posterior to the fifth transverse cheek row, which ends just above it.
Biology:  Collected from mud bottoms.
