Max. size:  12 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Asia: Western Ghats of Kerala and Karnataka in India (Ref. 4833). Reported from Thailand (Ref. 37773).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in streams and lakes (Ref. 10429). Reported to enter marine waters (Ref. 45255).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 02 October 2010 Ref. (124695)
