Max. size:  11.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Laos and Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:  Horny sheath of lower jaw without a sharp, cutting edge; body slender, depth 4.5-4.8 times in SL; two pairs of barbels present (maxillary barbels very small); last simple dorsal ray slender and not serrated posteriorly (Ref. 43281).
