Max. size:  30 cm NG (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: endemic to Taiwan.
Diagnosis:  This species possess 9 oval cloudily speckles along lateral midline of body and 11-13 small black spots above lateral line (Ref. 45563)..
Biology:  Found at temperatures below 15 °C. Feeds mainly on insects.
