Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6.5; dH range: 10
Distribution:  Asia: Sumatra, Indonesia (Ref. 7050). Has been transported worldwide and recorded from natural waters in Colombia (Ref. 1739).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  In creeks, rivers and lakes. Feeds on worms, small crustaceans, insects and plant matter (Ref. 7020).
