Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range - 5474 m
Distribution:  Southern Ocean: known from one specimen from the South Orkney Trench (Scotia Sea).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 41-41; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 38-38; Vertebrae: 50-50. Pale, uniformly grayish, with an unpigmented mouth-gill cavity (Ref. 11892).
