Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 143 - 686 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Bay of Bengal to the Philippines and Northwest Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A benthic species found on the continental shelf and slope (Ref. 75154). Common species (Ref. 34024). Oviparous, with oval pelagic eggs floating in a gelatinous mass (Ref. 205).
